It is a strange thing. Today we went out for a walk and ... took a different road. Just a few miles from our house we discovered some new scenery. Just amazing how you think you know everything in the area and still discover something new.
Besides the great winter landscapes I also came across this wall of an old barn house. Isn't the texture lovely?
Two nights ago we took our little niece to the zoo in Amersfoort. For the Christmas period they a special event, they are open at night. I didn't want to take my camera at first, but at the last minute I changed my mind. And an execellent decission it turned out to be. Of course shooting hand held at maximum ISO don't give the best photos in the world technically. But I had a blast.
I tell you, at night those zoo animals are scary....
