I am Paul Kamphuis, husband, soon to be father, software architect, photographer with a keen interest in internet marketing About 15 years ago I started working as a software developer, in particular for embedded systems. My biggest asset is my analytical skills. It allows me to quickly understand complex technical systems and applications, to diagnose errors and to fix these errors. Since 2009 I work for Nedap Energy Systems as a software architect for the PowerRouter. I have always been interested in photography. I have always enjoyed using the SLR from my parents. But was never able to get the hang of it. The photos never came out as expected. So for a couple of years I let it rest. Back in 2006, when DSLR became more mature, I decided I wanted to give it another try. I started by taking a photography course with a borrowed camera. Just to see if I still really liked it, before buying my self brand new Nikon D70s. No regrets. A digital camera makes the learning curve so much shorter and less expensive. Besides my job as a software engineer I am also interested in marketing and communications. Especially in the possibilities of the Internet in marketing. I started pact software, pact photography and pact studio in 2008 to channel my interests and ambitions. pact software for my software development and consulting skills. pact photography to market my ambitions as a photographer. pact studio to tie photography, software tooling and internet marketing together to assist photographers.
