T-Rex at the zoo

Two nights ago we took our little niece to the zoo in Amersfoort. For the Christmas period they a special event, they are open at night. I didn't want to take my camera at first, but at the last minute I changed my mind. And an execellent decission it turned out to be. Of course shooting hand held at maximum ISO don't give the best photos in the world technically. But I had a blast.

I tell you, at night those zoo animals are scary....

Yes you guessed right. We have a real dinosaur T-rex at the local zoo. As an educational project they have setup a dinosaur forest. And I have to say it is briljant at night.

Going through the zoo at night is really something special. You see all the animals in a completely perspective. Seeing the Chimpansee relaxing and building their lairs for the night is awesome. And even the camels, animals I simply pass by, in different lighting get something special. If you have a change to visit your local zoo at night. Do it!! It is fun. Do bring your camera
