To install the plugin in Lightroom download the photoshelter export plugin first.
Before installation
Before you install a new version of the plugin remove the currently installed version from lightroom.
manual installation
Within the package is a single folder with the suffix .lrplugin Lightroom recognizes a plugin if it is in a single folder with this suffix. NOTE: In Mac OS, the suffix .lrplugin creates a package, which looks like a single file.
A plug-in folder can reside in any location on your hard drive. You can load the plug-in using the Add button in the Plug-in Manager (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+,). Once it is added, you can enable or disable it through the dialog, or unload it using the Remove button.

- Use these buttons to add and remove plugins. If you didn't store the plugin in an automatic loaded folder, you need to use the Add button to install the plugin
- When the plugin is correctly loaded and enabled, it is shown in this location
- To enable/disable the plugin without removing it
- If you experience problems with the plugin, you can enable the logging option. When enable the plugin will create a file called pactphotoshelter.txt in your home folder.
Automatic plug-in loading
Lightroom automatically checks for plug-ins in the standard Modules folder where other Lightroom settings are stored:
Plug-ins that are installed in this location are automatically listed in the Plug-in Manager dialog. You can use the dialog to enable or disable such a plug-in, but not to remove it. The Remove button is dimmed when such a plug-in is selected.
