|
The photoshelter export plugin for Adobe Lightroom is the easiest way to export your photos from Lightroom into your Photoshelter Archive. The new release is completely rewritten to make it compatible with lightroom 2 and Lightroom 3 beta. It takes advantage of the lightroom feature to add metadata to the catalog. The photoshelter photo Id is now stored with the photo after upload. This allows the creation of a quick collection containing your photoshelter photos. The improved error reporting and integrated logging makes diagnosing problems easier. And most important.. it is ready to be extended with new features. What would you like to be added? |

With that, it would be awesome to be able to - within the plugin - check a box to replace a previously uploaded file (such as a quick proofing jpeg) a subsequently uploaded file (the processed final file). Seems like it could somehow drive off of the original photoshelter id.
Right now it seems that I can upload a proof jpeg which gets assigned a photoshelter id and if I upload the same file again it gets a new photoshelter id. Thus, I have two identical files on photoshelter with two unique photoshelter id's but only one id tracked in Lightroom.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks for your work on this plug-in.
Sincerely,
Andy
Having upgraded to Lightroom for my photography workflow and getting good results with LR 1.4 and your plug-in, I want to get it working with LR 3.
Is this version stable to use with the release version of LR 3?
Great work btw

Yes the latest version v2.3 is lightroom 3 compatible.
Just be aware of a (relative) long upgrade process when updating a large catalog to this plugin in lightroom 2. If you upgrade to lightroom 3 first, there is no upgrade, but you will loose the already uploaded history.
I hope the plugin proces useful for you.
best regards,
Paul
